    This second version of their Springer is so good. It easily replaced the first version in my collection as I go for toon aesthetic over anything else. Height is great too. Stands nicely alongside their blaster and looks slightly down on magic squares OP

    Bought this to have a Legend scale Springer in my collection. Let's face it, there isn't a lot of option to choose from right now. First, the good. The paint is great. Transformation is super easy. Articulation for robot mode is very good, though not as great as newer toys from Magic Square or Newage. Now the bad. QC could have been better. Some tabs don't tab in correctly and gets untabbed way too easy. In helicopter mode, the two yellow fins, as seen in the second picture, are very loose and don't stay up. If you buy him and display him mainly in robot mode, then you will love it as that is his best mode. He looks great, joints are tight with very good articulation. As for the other two modes, the helicopter and car looks just okay, and some of the parts are loose and don't stay in place. For the car, it's the backside where the legs are supposed to tab in together. For the helicopter, it's the arm parts on either side of the cockpit. Also, the rotor on the helicopter is not balanced and would hit the back when spinning around. I will be honest, I didn't expect too much from him when I made the purchase, but I was expecting him to be at least in the same quality as Astrotrain and Blitzwing, which are great by the way. As a result, I'm a little disappointed. So do I recommend this purchase. If you have to have a Legends Scale Springer in your collection and you display him mainly in robot form, then I definitely recommend it. Other than that, wait for a sale as this is worth at most, $30. Even then, I would only recommend it if you really want one.
