I had a choice between buying the MFT version, the Magic Square version, and Newage version. Newage was out of the question bc they were twice as expensive, about $90 for both. While the Magic Square combo was cheaper, $45, MFT cost $56 for both. Ultimately, I decided to go with MFT's offering bc of the more toon accurate looks and all the included accessories. I understand coming in that there are advantages and disadvantages to both versions and did all my researches, so I was comfortable with my purchase. First off, both modes look great. Transformation is super easy. Joints are good, although the leg joints are a bit loose for my liking, but it's not too bad. The only problem I have with these two, Inferno more, is the QC and material. The material is made of hard plastic and is a little thin, but that is expected of these small legends scale toys. I don't feel comfortable handling these when transforming bc I feel I might break them. When in vehicle mode, Inferno wheels don't sit flat to the ground so it's always off balance. Second, and the most egregious, is the little hose connected to the wing on the left side of his head is too tight and the connection is too thin, that when I turned it in vehicle mode, it cracks at the joint. This is why Magic Square uses its gummy plastic, to resist breakage and crack, especially for their design. Since MFT is a KO of Magic Square, using hard plastic cannot compensate for this design. I superglued it to hold it in place, but now it cannot be moved in robot mode, which is very disappointing. Would I recommend this, it depends. You have 3 options currently. If money is not an issue, then definitely go with Newage offerings. They have better design, better material, better scale, and the most toon accurate. It's twice the price so you get what you paid for. If money is tight and you don't care too much about toon accuracy, then definitely go with Magic Square. If cartoon accuracy is important to you, if scale is not that important to you, these are slightly bigger than they should be though it doesn't bother me too much, and if price is somewhat important to you, then this is an okay purchase, Grapple more than Inferno. Do I regret my purchase, just a little bit. I like everything about them, minus the QC issues.
