Recently received the figure. joints and articulations great. and it looks and feels good but, the paint scratching on his belly, legs and shoulder are really ugly.

Its an excellent figure an, all things considered, my favourite optimus prime since MP10. It isn't as solid feeling as TE-01 but the articulation is a lot better to it balances out. Robot mode is stunning and can pull off some excellent poses. Transformation is complex but pretty straightforward. For this price its a bargain

The paint is very good on the Magic Square figures. They have a better view than any figure. Examine the figures of optimus and ironhide.

1. Likeness: Bot: Obviously a toon mold, but most of the accents are there, in paint! The notable differences are the Chrome, the holes vs yellow details, the shape of the head and the wheels on the side of the legs. Truck: Here it comes closer, but still the Chrome! Also, the shape of the truck, G1 is more squished in details, and more boxy over all. Score: 7 2. Gimmicks: Opening doors, axe as hand ability, adapter for two different trailers. Score: 8 3. Cleanliness: Bot: Minimal backpack, and all hidden away in the legs and such. Truck: a bit too panely, especially around the doors and windows. The carrige on the other hand... Score: 8 4. Paint: A bit powdery on the details, but looks awsome on a shelf! A beautiful figure for sure! Score: 9 5. Transformation: Worse than MP-44 in my meaning, it simply doesn't want to come together in the final steps

The quality and color of the MS-02TC optimus prime, one of the Magic Square optimus prime figures, are excellent. It's more advanced than the original masterpiece optimus figure. The other Magic Square optimus prime figures look really good.
