When it was first released for $200, I thought it was overpriced. Then it got a price cut, so I bought it bc $160 seemed more reasonable. Let me get the good stuff out of the way. He looks awesome. He's basically a modernized G1 Metroplex, with all the improvements you would expect. Pretty good articulation, lots of details, and the lights just put him over the top. Even though it's not really necessary and some say that they would rather have a lower price than the inclusion of the lights, to which I partially agree, but it is there so it is what it is. The lights just make him extra cool, especially in city mode. I love his robot mode, but I will be putting him in city mode bc that is his best mode in my opinion. The battle station mode is meh. I like that they included a small figure of Windblade to go along with him, plus Slammer. Wish they would include Six Gun and Scamper too, but I will be buying them when they are released by Siyang. It's just $20 to complete the set. Now the bad. Like many people, his head won't go down when pushed. I opened him up and you can see the problem in picture 1. Opening him up just require you to unscrew 7 screws on his back so it's not too daunting if you want to do it. If you have a nipper, then you can easily cut the protruding piece away, as seen in picture 2. That solves everything. Another problem I experienced is QC issues. The right shin won't tab in bc the tabs are too small or the holes to tab them in are too big. Lastly, the instruction is all in Chinese and aren't even very good. This make for a difficult time installing all the lights, which was a chore to do. Had to go to youtube for a better guide. Despite all that, the good sure outweighs the bad. For their first outing, I commend Siyang for releasing a pretty solid Metroplex. Hope they gain some experience from this and do an even better job with their Scorponok. Anyway, he is becoming one of my favorite Transformers figures, right up there with 1Studio Cell Unicron and Newage Omega Supreme.

It looks pretty good, but there's something that I just don't really like about the sculpt.

Pretty nice for the price. Wish it had more surface details, but guess you can't complain as it's not the expensive.
