Keep going, Keepgoing!

First order with Bombusbee. Fantastic experience! Can highly recommend. Figure was very well packaged and arrived without damage. It was shipped to the UK and Royal Mail handled the delivery. No hidden import duties/taxes. Lots of comparisons to Sanada ahead! Love the figure, fantastic addition to the line, I hope Keepgoing… keep going! Oda’s accessories are decent, compared to Sanada, she seems to have traded a weapon or two for the helmeted head, which is a fair compromise. Oda is slightly shorter than Sanada due to lack of high heels, I thought that was a nice touch! Weapons seem to be made of metal (like Sanada’s), they look and feel great! The soft goods banner is printed nicely, the loops are a bit uneven on mine but it’s not terrible. Some minor issues I have with the figure: - Oda has much smaller eyes than Sanada. They look decent, but when I look at Sanada, I’m instantly drawn to those huge, blue eyes. I don’t get that experience with Oda, though the yellow is pretty. - She has the same sort of hinged hip armour as Sanada. It works, but it feels very delicate. I hope Keepgoing switch these hinges to ball joints on the next figure. - They missed an opportunity to include a piece for the base that could be used to connect Oda’s and Sanada’s bases together. The steps are removable to access the hands in the base, it was a perfect opportunity to include a connector piece. - The clear posing arm that plugs into the base is terrible; it is not the same as the one I got with Sanada. Oda’s has one less point of articulation, lacks the tilt feature of Sanada’s and the hinges are evenly spaced apart, so if you want to support Oda’s waist, you have to extend it quite far behind the base. The jaws of the arm are thicker, asymmetrical, and very stiff and creaky - I expect they’ll snap with usage. The instructions leaflet suggests Sanada should have come with the same posing arm as Oda, maybe this changed late in production. I’ve included a photo of both posing arms; Oda’s one is on the right. All that said, the figure looks fantastic and if you like samurai, she’s a great buy! I always thought Sanada would fit well into a cyberpunk display, what with her white tank-top, meanwhile Oda is rocking a more medieval look to me!

Perfect Condition

Package was shipped well protected, with many layers of reinforcement. The box the figure is in was in perfect condition, and the artwork is fantastic. The articulation is great, the only criticism I have is that the skirt pieces are permanently attached to the waist. Great value for a gender bent anime version of Oda Nobunaga
